Cortez star drag reels feature a mechanical stabilizing system that ensures the reel stays in precise alignment, strong, stable and smooth. Load it with braid or monofilament to bait fish the depths, vertical jig, troll or beach cast, the fully-sealed, 100% waterproof magnetic control system reduces backlash and improve casting distance.
