Jarvis Walker Black Queen 7'9 2-5 Kg Solid Glass Fishing Rod
The Solid Series are just that: solid!
These no-nonsense fibreglass rods have tough old-school designs for anglers who know Jarvis Walker can still 'make 'em like they used to'.
This rod is suited to freshwater and estuary use.
A slow progressive taper makes it ideal for detecting finicky bites from species such as bream, whiting and luderick.
The solid fibre glass construction makes it much stronger than tubular rods.

From 7 ReviewBy: Joseph Schinella onI remember this rod from my youth (some 40 years ago)as a great all rounder so decided to get one again. Still as good as I remembered it to be. Very happy with the rod and very happy with the service from hooked online. Thank you
By: Rod Clark onLove the reels - So cool - Great value for money
By: David Olde-Byvank onbest ever estuary rod. had one when I was 16 and still the same great quality. Coupled with outstanding service, best buy this year
By: Kevin onBought 2 Black Queen fishing rods, impressive quality. One day postage, Sydney to Melbourne, quickest I have ever experienced and I buy a lot of stuff online. That experience and additional purchases I have since made with this seller, has won me over when I need quality fishing gear. I have recommended them to friends and they are equally impressed.
By: Peter Maddern onThis was the third rod of these I have purchased from this source and I have enjoyed more Black Queens before them over the years. I find them very good. I have lost the odd eyelet insert over time but they also get treated roughly. A very serviceable and solidly made rod which, in my opinion, is worth very much more than their present cost. I don't say that about many things these days.
