The Mustad 39960D Tuna Circle Hook is a classic in the Mustad range simply because of its proven track record on a range of pelagic species. With the ability to pin fish in the corner of the mouth almost every time, the 39960D is a sensational catch and release hook. A fantastic hook for cubing for tuna, the heavy duty build allows anglers to use heavy tackle to chase the biggest fish.

From 2 ReviewBy: Kevin Jackson onI fish the deep water at the Montebello Is once a year. When hooked up with these Mustad Tuna Circle hooks, the fish rarely get off even when floating on the surface waiting to be netted. Every single time, the fish is hooked in the corner of the mouth so no more gut or gill hooked fish. I usually buy 2 boxes at a time and we get through a few due to shark predation. I probably wouldnt use anything else.
By: Kevin Jackson onIf you bottom bounce in deep water and dont want your fish to fall off while you are getting them up, then these are the best hook to use, The hook pins the fish in the Jaw making escape nearly impossible and if you want to release the fish then there is absolutely no damage to the gill or gut.
